Kids invited to learn story of creation

The Littlest Disciples Ministry of St. Mary of the Lakes Parish and School, Medford, will present “The Story of Creation,” an evening of prayerful reflection, storytelling, and activities for children and their families.

The event will begin at 6 p.m. Sept. 22 in the Emmaus Center, which is located across from the church on Jackson Road. At 6:30 p.m., the Happy Trails Petting Zoo will visit, bringing a number of farm animals. Food and refreshments will also be included in this free event.

The ministry has also invited its fellow Cohort 3 families with children. In addition to the Medford parish, this cohort includes the parishes of Holy Eucharist, Tabernacle; St. Joan of Arc and St. Isaac Jogues, both Marlton, and St. John Neumann, Mount Laurel.

The Littlest Disciples is a family ministry that focuses on developing children’s relationship with Jesus. The mission is to reinforce the message of the Gospel to children from birth to fourth grade, alongside their families, through spiritually guiding fun, interactive activities and events.
