Bereavement group begins winter session Jan. 9 in Forked River parish

“Journey Through Grief” is a bereavement support group sponsored by members of St. Pius X Parish, Forked River, who are experienced, certified bereavement facilitators who emotionally and spiritually support those who are grieving the death of a loved one.

Registration is now open for the winter session. The group will meet for eight consecutive Tuesday afternoons at 2 p.m. in the parish meeting room. The first session begins Jan. 9. Participation is free of charge and is limited to adults who have suffered their loss prior to October, 2017.

Registration forms, brochures and information sheets are available in both the church narthex and in the office. Completed forms must be mailed to Paula Little at 24 Cedar Street, Barnegat, N.J. 08005 by Jan. 2. Upon receipt of the registration form, a support group facilitator will contact the inquirer.
