Clergy take seven high-schoolers on vocation trip to New York City

A Mass and tour in New York City's St. Patrick Cathedral and a prayerful visit to One World Trade Center to remember those lost on Sept. 11, 2001, were highlights of a July 5 trip taken by several priests, a seminarian and seven high school students from the Diocese who might be described as “priest hopefuls.” More ...

Annual picnic fosters camaraderie among Diocese's seminarians
Great food and beautiful weather set the backdrop for a special summer gathering of the Diocese of Trenton’s 17 seminarians the evening of July 19.

Hosted by the Diocese on the grounds of St. John the Baptist Parish, Allentown, the picnic afforded the men, who are pursuing studies in three different seminaries, an opportunity to socialize and share their seminary experiences as they journey toward their goal of one day serving as priests for the Diocese.

The 19th century poet and essayist might well enjoy the simplicity and glorious expressions emanating from the pens, pencils and even crayons of youth in the Diocese of Trenton as they engage in the annual Seminarian Letter Project.
