Nobody Told Me presentation

Author and abstinence educator, Pam Stenzel, will present “Nobody Told Me!” an event for parents and teens on healthy relationships, from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. March 10 in St. John Vianney High School, 540A Line Road, Holmdel and will include a keynote presentation and breakout sessions. The presentation will also be held 7 p.m. March 8 in St. Gregory the Great Church, 4620 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square and Both will have a Spanish track, Corazon Puro.
During the 90-minute presentation, Stenzel will use her pregnancy counselling experience, as well as her personal story, to help educate teens about the true meaning of sexuality and the consequences of sexual activity outside of marriage.
The presentation is co-sponsored by the diocesan Department of Evangelization and Family Life and Youth and Young Adult Ministries.
Stenzel, who is founder of Enlighten Communications Inc. has a degree in psychology from Liberty University, Lynchburg, Va., and served as a member of the National Abstinence Clearinghouse Advisory Board. The former director of the Alpha Women’s Center in Prior Lake, Minn., Stenzel now takes her message to teens and parents in the United States and world-wide.
She participated in President George W. Bush’s Faith-Based and Community Initiatives meeting held at the White House in 2001, and has been a guest on numerous national TV and radio programs, including appearances on Fox News Network’s “Hannity & Colmes,” “The Sean Hannity Show,” “The Dr. Laura Show,” CBN’s “The 700 Club,” and “Politically Incorrect with Bill Maher.”
