On March 25, Pam Stenzel will speak from 9 a.m. to noon in St. Joseph Parish, 685 Hooper Ave., Toms River, and from 1 to 4 p.m. in St. Catharine Parish, 108 Middletown Rd., Holmdel.
Pam Stenzel, noted author and abstinence educator, founder of Enlighten Communications Inc. has traveled the world, speaking to more than 500,000 young people each year about sexuality and abstinence. She also conducts seminars with parents and educators regarding issues of teen sex and how vital character building is part of a childís upbringing. Stenzel holds a degree in psychology from Liberty University, Lynchburg, Va., and served as a member of the National Abstinence Clearinghouse Advisory Board. She is also the former director of the Alpha Womenís Center, Prior Lake, Minn.
During her presentations, Stenzel will use the experience she has in pregnancy counseling as well as her personal story to help educate teens about the true meaning of sexuality, the consequences of sexual activity outside of marriage and why chastity is an integral part in a young personís life.
